The fitting is only as true as what walks in with the dress. The night is only as true as what you can still check after an afternoon storm on International Drive. These kits are the bag, not the catalog of jobs and not the homepage hook.

Two lists, two moments

What to bring is the fitting-day list: the dress on a hanger, the shoes for the night, the underlayer that stays on, a written note of the rooms. A hotel front desk can usually tell you whether the reception is in the ballroom, on a terrace, or both.

The fitting kit is the gear that keeps those marks honest after the cloth has sat in Florida air: strap tape, hem tape for a night check, a second pair of hosiery, a phone light, a travel steamer, heel grips so the pump stays the height you marked.
